Art 2 – WORKING ON  ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE.

FIRST HOMEWORK IS DUE THIS FRIDAY 2/05    —–3 BOXES IN 1PT PERSPECTIVE – ALL APPEARING OPEN WITH SOMETHING CRAWLING, FLYING, OOZING, FALLING OUT OF THE BOXES. EVERYTHING MUST BE SHADED WITH ONE LIGHT SOURCE AND CAST SHADOWS.

ADVANCED ART

WORKING ON SELF=PORTRAIT SPHERE DRAWINGS.——-CONCEPT SKETCHES MUST BE SHOWN TO THE TEACHER BY 2.04       

PROJECT WILL BE DUE  FRIDAY 2/12

End of the semester

If you are creating a powerpoint save it to a flash drive or dvd. No internet access is available along with the projector.

Keep your presentations at approximately 5 min.

SEMESTER GRADES WILL BE POSTED ON FRIDAY 1/29

Any missing work or work being resubmitted for a higher grade must be turned in by Tues 10/13

List of Assignments:

LINE – Chinese brush painting unit (practice packet and final painting)40 points possible — Original due date 9/17

SHAPE – Non-objective shape designs in colored pencil 30 points possible —-Original due date 9/25

VALUE – Practice value sheets and Formscapes 40 points possible Original due date 9/29 and 10/06

Large value drawings will be due 10/15  75 points possible

HOMEWORK 3 – observational drawing of the sunflower is due Wed 10/14

Grading Policy

A = 90 – 100%
B = 80 -89.9%
C = 70 – 79.9%
D = 65 – 69.9%
F = 0 – 64.9%
